Prayer and Faith
In any study of the principles and procedure of prayer, of its activities and enterprises, first place, must, of necessity, be given to faith.
- He must see where he cannot prove...
- When faith ceases to pray, it ceases to live...
- Only God can move mountains, but only faith and prayer move God...
- Faith initiates change.
- Faith is a starting point (2 Peter 1 v5-8)
- Faith achieves right relationship with God, not the other way around.
- Faith initiates warfare.
- A church full of faith is a church full of prayer.
- The wonderful gift of prayer. . . it doesn't exist!
- Faith initiates worship.
- Worship: (def) - displaying adoration or devotion; to idolize. ..
- What you worship will control you.
Worship is not necessarily the God you pray to, but it is that which you give your thoughts to, your time to, your energy to. Who, or what do you consult in times of financial crisis? Family disputes, broken relationships, imperfections, lost dreams, stress, Do you consult the God of Creation, or are you transfixed on the god of reason, logic, or positive thinking? Faith initiates and directs worship heavenward
What you worship will control you.
